This year long introductory program is intended to capture all the seasons of the herbalist! Plant, grow, harvest, store and make remedies. The program also covers an introductory look at plant identification, the actions of herbs, herbal constituents, the energetic of herbs and much more.
course:
Class meets one day a month. Each class we’ll study herbs for different systems of the body, such as the nervous and digestive systems. We’ll make remedies for those systems too such as tea blends, tinctures and more! We’ll work in the garden, planting and tending, harvesting , storing and processing.
Student benefits:
Students have access to Hibernia Garden throughout the program. The garden contains over 30 medicinal plants. Students can take plant starts home to make their own garden and can also share in the harvest of Hibernia!
Course Cost: $900
$75 per class
Includes items to make products including containers, oils, herbs, alcohol for tinctures, etc.
